The C Curtis Building team carried out a room by room renovation project on our 3 storey Victorian property over a period of 12 months. The works included new ceilings, plastering, electrics, refurbishment of sash windows, replacing sash windows, roof works, repointing, replacing floorboards, building wardrobes and bookcases and general painting and decorating. By the time we were ready to carry out our major project, the kitchen extension, we were in no doubt that there was no one else we would want to work with.
C Curtis Building take ownership of the whole project. They listen, understands concerns and do their utmost to find solutions. They were very patient with my enquiries and general lack of understanding of the building process. They interpreted my vision and anticipated next steps – breaking down the decision-making process into bite sized chunks and gently nudging me in the right direction at times! Communication with the team is excellent – we were always fully informed as to what was happening next. If there was a hold-up we knew why and what he was doing about it. They would let me know which members of the team were due at the house on days and what they would be doing. We lived on site during most of the building works and the team were respectful of our home and the fact that we were on site.
C Curtis Building made the process as painless as possible and we are immensely pleased with the results. The new living space exceeds our expectations and I don’t think we could have done it without the C Curtis Building team.
